About Craig
So, it's the 'me' bit then!
Singing is the thing I get up for in the morning, my greatest joy. Sounds trite, doesn't it, but it's true nonetheless. I've found that I also love to help people with their voices. It's exciting for me to be a part of someone's singing adventures, a privilege.

My professional journey into the voice began in 2009 when I earned a place on the FEAST/Cymaz project 'Get Cornwall Singing!', tutored by Vicky Abbott. Vicky is an extraordinary tour-de-force – a singer, composer, choir leader, and song arranger. Twelve people from all across Cornwall were given the opportunity to learn skills and arrangements, and we were supported in beginning new community singing groups.
While training, I really started to study the singing voice, and all its eccentricities. I spent about four years studying voice with Danu Fox. I read and avidly researched how voice-users put their instruments to work across genres. In time, I guess I became somewhat of a technique geek; the process is fascinating, and I love the study of technique and anatomy. The result to my singing has been better vocal health and greater freedom and breadth of choice.
While working with choirs, I was to asked to give lessons. Initially I steered people towards voice teachers I knew. A couple of singers told me that they felt safe with me and wouldn't actually go to another teacher. That's how and why I started to teach. Two people eventually led to many.

Helping people with their voices is by far the best job I've ever had!
